Each provider is paneled with different insurance plans. Availability is dependent on the providers' schedules.

Patients are ultimately responsible for knowing what their financial responsibilities are when utilizing insurance.  Call the number on the back of your insurance card to find out about your deductible and your copay before your first session.

If you have a high deductible, your responsibility will be the entire cost of your session, each session, that insurance allows.  Please be sure to understand the cost of your deductible prior to the first session to be prepared for any potential costs.

Due to the amount of time that is needed for an evaluation, there is a non-refundable $500 deposit for evaluations to secure your testing day for OON patients and for patients wanting academic/learning disability testing.

Out-of-Network (OON) Benefits

You may be able to utilize out-of-network benefits for evaluation costs.  Out-of-network benefits may cover some of the cost of your therapy or of your evaluation if you have an insurance carrier who is not listed above.  You will need to call the number on the back of your insurance card for assistance in using your out-of-network benefits.

Medicaid and Medicare Evaluation Patients

• Most Maryland Medicaid and Medicare plans are accepted.  *We cannot accept Virginia or DC Medicaid plans*

• Academic testing is not considered a medical necessity.  If academic testing (e.g., for learning disability assessment) is needed, your Medicaid/Medicare plan will not cover these costs.  Payment plans are available for out-of-pocket costs.

• We will schedule you for an intake appointment.  Afterwards, we will need to request Authorization from Medicaid/Medicare to determine how much time they will allow for testing.  Once Medicaid/Medicare processes your Authorization, we will then schedule your evaluation day and give you a Good Faith Estimate with a range of possible out of pocket costs if you are in need of academic testing or any other service Medicaid does not cover.  Whatever the amount that Medicaid approves is the full fee for services that are authorized. No additional fees will be owed by Medicaid recipients for covered services.
